After failing to sign Thomas Partey, an Arsenal midfielder, during the summer, Saudi Arabian clubs Al-Ettifaq and Al-Ahli are preparing a second attempt to sign the player.

The Ghanaian international was targeted by the latter along with other Premier League players, as the Gunners were willing to let go of the 30-year-old after signing Declan Rice from West Ham, according to the Daily Mail.
Al-Ettifaq and Al-Ahli have reportedly rekindled their interest in Partey and plan to make a move for the Arsenal player in 2024, according to Ekrem Konur.
The Ghanaian midfielder has long been admired by Juventus, so the Saudi clubs will not get their wish.
Partey is the player the Turin-based team wants to replace World Cup winner Paul Pogba, who was banned this year after failing a drugs test.
Since the 30-year-old’s contract at the Emirates expires in2025, selling in 2024 would be Arsenal’s best bet because Mikel Arteta no longer values the midfield player as highly as he once did.
