Don’t see that coming? Fabrizio Romano now says Chelsea will complete another new signing tomorrow.

Fabrizio Romano has claimed that Chelsea are at long last set to confirm the signing of Angelo Gabriel.

He took to Twitter to state that the Blues will complete the deal tomorrow barring he passes the second part of his medical.

The addition of Angelo is another sign that the club are sticking to the mantra of bringing in young players with the intention of them becoming the first team stars of the future.

One of the most exciting signings of the last 12 months has been Andrey Santos, who has already been capped at senior level for Brazil.

The midfielder has also given the biggest hint possible that the attacker is on his way to Stamford Bridge, with him stating he is looking forward to seeing him soon.

Chelsea about to sign Angelo

Now, Romano has claimed that the Blues have completed all the documents required to sign the youngster and allow him to join up with the side for the pre-season tour.

He said: “Understand Chelsea have finally signed all documents with Santos for Ângelo Gabriel deal.

“Told 2004 born talent will complete the second part of medical tests tomorrow then travel to USA with Chelsea. Deal worth €15m fee — club will decide on loan after USA tour.”

While the club continue to focus on bringing in stars for the future, there will be some who are worried that this may take the attention off signing players to feature as early as next season.

The efforts are currently on bringing in Moises Caicedo from Brighton, however negotiations have gone on for some time now, leaving many worried that the deal will fail at the final hurdle due to financial issues.

It has been claimed today that he will actually return to pre-season with the Seagulls as things stand.
