Levi Colwill has broken the silence over his future at Chelsea amid links of a possible summer transfer.
Speaking about his future, he told The Times: “I’ll speak to my family, speak to everyone I need to and make a decision.
“I’ve got to play at the end of the day to hopefully get there and go to the next (England) camp.”
It’s quite clear that Colwill wants to be a regular starter for whichever club he plays for going forward, which is something he could struggle to ensure at Chelsea due to the level of competition.
The Blues are not at all interested in selling the 20-year-old, who has been linked to a move to Brighton and Liverpool.
Mauricio Pochettino is reportedly a big fan of Colwill and will probably need to play a key role in explaining his plan for him and convincing the centre-back to stay at Chelsea for the foreseeable future.
