Arsenal is planning to make an ambitious €90 million (£77.42 million) offer to Real Madrid for Aurelien Tchouameni, according to a new report from Defensa Central. The Gunners are said to have prepared an initial offer of €80 million (£68.82 million) but are now ready to increase that. Although it may be stressed that Los Blancos do not want to sell and Tchouameni does not want to leave.

Arsenal unwilling to pay £45m for Lavia
Arsenal is pulling back from a move for Romeo Lavia over Southampton’s £45m valuation of the midfielder. The Gunners are keen to add to their options in midfield, but the Daily Express report that they are ‘reluctant’ to meet the Saints’ price tag.

Chelsea and Liverpool both remain interested but have informed Lavia’s representatives that the price tag needs to be lower if they are to make a bid.

According to a report from Nizaar Kinsella of the Evening Standard, Chelsea is closing in on the signing of Moises Caicedo. Kinsella’s report states that the Blues are making “good progress in negotiations” with the midfielder who is said to be keen on a move and ready to agree on personal terms.
