Aspiring supporter claims that Arsenal may be able to sign Mbappe because “we’re a magnet for top players.”
An Arsenal fan has questioned the decision of Mikel Arteta and Edu not to bid for Kylian Mbappe.
Ardent Gunner, as the supporter is known on Twitter, believes the club is now a magnet for top clubs and would have had a chance of attracting the France captain.
He wrote: “I can’t imagine Arteta and Edu haven’t discussed Mbappe’s case. We are a magnet for top players, and we’ve already demonstrated our ambition with a superb start to the window.
“I’m trying not to get too excited, but we could have a shot if Arsenal goes for him.”
Mbappe has just one more year left on his current Paris Saint-Germain deal. Arsenal are among clubs to be linked with the World Cup winner although no official bid has been made.
