Arsenal has scheduled medicals for both Declan Rice and Jurrien Timber, as they are confident of wrapping up both transfers by the end of the week, according to the Daily Mail.

The Gunners have agreed a £105 million fee with West Ham for Rice after two failed bids.

They have also struck a deal with Ajax to sign Timber for around £40m.

With both transfers in the final phase, Arsenal has now booked medicals for both Rice and Timber.

The Rice transfer is said to be “95 per cent complete” as negotiations over the structure of payments continue, although all parties expect to reach a compromise very soon.

Arsenal had hoped to pay the £100m fixed part of the fee over the course of four years in several instalments but West Ham wants it paid by the start of 2025.
