Marcus Rashford makes sure of no late drama!
It is six in six for the in form striker as he sends Manchester United into the semi-finals.
Great work by Facundo Pellistri as he feeds the ball through the defence for Rashford, who makes no mistake.
Charlton’s hearts are broken but they have given an excellent account of themselves.
Manchester United boss Erik ten Hag, speaking to BBC Radio 5 live: “I said before the game, ‘no ifs, buts or maybes’, we have to be in that semi-final and we did the job.
“The only thing I wasn’t happy with was that we should have finished earlier by finding that key pass.
“I don’t think we offered them too much and if we did then Tom Heaton was there.
“I think we should have finished it earlier on but the objective was to reach the semi so compliments to the team.”
On substitutions impacting the match: “That was the plan before, I had to bring them on to sustain the rhythm for the coming games.
“One of the qualities of this team is that the substitutes are ready to come on, contribute and play really well.
“Pellistri came on and was really lively, he had some good actions and got an assist.”
