Aaron Ramsdale tells all about life at high-flying Arsenal
Aaron, a gifted young goalkeeper who was a member of the England team that advanced to the Euro 2020 final, joined the team in the summer. Aaron made the switch from Sheffield United, the team where he began his professional career, and made his debut there at the age of 18 in 2016. He was very well-regarded throughout the early part of his career.
After signing with Bournemouth in 2017, he had loan stints at Chesterfield and AFC Wimbledon, where he won Young Player of the Year and helped the team avoid relegation from League One.
Before joining Sheffield United again at the start of the 2020β21 season, he went back to Bournemouth and won the fans’ Player of the Year award in 2019β20. He was named United’s Player and Young Player of the Year for that season.
