In a recent interview with Oleksandr Zinchenko’s wife, Mykhaylo Mudryk, a transfer target for Arsenal, revealed a shocking truth about the Gunners.

With 16 goal contributions in 16 appearances across all competitions for Shakhtar Donetsk this season, Mudryk is one of the most exciting young players in Europe right now. After the summer transfer window, goalkeeper Anatoliy Trubin revealed that a running joke in the Shakhtar Donetsk locker room was the proposed transfer of Mudryk to Arsenal.

The talented winger from Shakhtar is being compared to players like Neymar, Vinicius Junior, and Kylian Mbappe, and the Gunners are rumored to be interested. Shakhtar has reportedly set a price tag of £80 million on their talented player. The youngster seems to be very open to moving to Arsenal, who are looking to add more players in the January transfer window and need more depth in their wide areas.

Mudryk talked openly about his admiration for Arsenal’s style of play and how he keeps up with their results in an interview with Vlada Zinchenko that was posted on YouTube. The 21-year-old said of Napoli, who are currently playing really well with some great players, Bayern, Man City, and Arsenal, “They’re playing really well at the moment with some great players.”

He then acknowledged that he regularly checks the Gunners results, saying: “Yeah. I monitor them in “myscore” and am aware that I can do so while they are competing.

“I also watch them too. (Arsenal are) a very dynamic side, in general not just in controlling possession but also in scoring goals.”

His answer gave the impression that he admires Mikel Arteta’s brand of play at the Emirates Stadium and that he might one day play for Arsenal. When Emile Smith Rowe returns from injury, technical director Edu is rumored to be on the lookout for a few wingers to provide competition for players like Bukayo Saka, Gabriel Martinelli, and Emile Smith Rowe. This will strengthen Arsenal’s attack for the second half of the season as they compete with Manchester City for the Premier League title.
