Robert Jones, the referee for tonight’s match between Newcastle United and Chelsea, seemed to push Christian Pulisic near the end of the game.
As Chelsea tried to tie the game, tensions between the two teams grew as they both tried to score.
In the nine minutes of extra time, Nick Pope, Sean Longstaff, and Jamaal Lascelles were all given yellow cards. Jamaal Lascelles was not even on the field when he got a yellow card for pushing Marc Cucurella as he tried to take a throw-in.
As another fight was getting started, Pulisic tried to join in, but the referee pushed him away.
