Arsenal will travel to Stamford Bridge on Sunday in an attempt to defeat their London rivals and maintain their lead over reigning champions Manchester City.

After a stellar start to the season, Arsenal experienced a blip last month, dropping points against Southampton and falling to PSV in the Europa League.

Last weekend, however, Mikel Arteta’s squad reverted to form as they defeated Nottingham Forest 5-0 at the Emirates Stadium.

Chelsea, meanwhile, are experiencing their first rough patch under Graham Potter, having earned only two points in their last three league matches.

The Blues, who are currently 10 points behind Arsenal, fell to Potter’s former club Brighton 4-1 on the weekend.

Merson wrote in a Sportskeeda column, “This is a huge game for both teams, albeit for different reasons.”

If Arsenal wins, they will surpass Chelsea by 13 points. Manchester United, Liverpool, and Chelsea are not talking about winning the Premier League championship. They are no longer in contention for the championship and are aiming for a top-four finish.

If Arsenal win this game, Chelsea would have to lose five games in order to catch them, assuming Chelsea doesn’t lose themselves.

This is a crucial match for Arsenal, and they must avoid defeat. They must ensure that they are not railroad bullies.

If Arsenal do not lose this match, they should remain in contention for the Premier League title for quite some time.

I do not know who will play for Chelsea this week. Because everyone knows what team Arsenal will field, they are at the top of the Premier League table.

“They’re playing the same team every week, and it’s working out splendidly – kudos to Arteta.” Arsenal needs a large roster, as it appears they will advance far in multiple competitions.

They are atop the Premier League standings and are performing well in the Europa League. Arsenal needs to retain players such as Kieran Tierney.

“Raheem Sterling is not an outside back.” It is a very difficult position to play, and you cannot simply put anyone there. Graham Potter made a grave error last week.

‘Great wing-backs do not receive the credit they deserve; they must cover one full side of the field and run up and down. Raheem Sterling is a wing-back to the same extent that I am a goalkeeper.

Arsenal are currently dominating the Premier League and do not require a break for the World Cup. They’re on a winning streak and they dominated against Forest.

I believe this match will end in a 1-1 tie, which will be favorable for Arsenal.
