Arsenal receives a double boost as two injured players are seen returning to training

Bukayo Saka and Oleksandr Zinchenko were both pictured back in training today, giving Arsenal a huge boost.

Following his injury in the victory over Nottingham Forest, the Gunners will have been anxious about Saka’s fitness. In addition, England fans will undoubtedly be relieved that Saka is back in training ahead of the World Cup.

Since joining from Manchester City in the summer, Zinchenko has had a stop-start season as a result of persistent fitness difficulties, but it appears he will soon be back in contention for Mikel Arteta’s team.

Saka was sighted in today’s training session, as reported by Simon Collings in the article below.

Zinchenko was also seen in the session, James Benge noted, giving Arsenal further good news.

The AFC will want everyone healthy in order to give themselves the best opportunity of maintaining their top-of-the-table position given their unexpectedly excellent start to the season.

Although it won’t be simple for Arsenal to challenge defending champions Manchester City for the title, with some luck and things like injuries, they might have a chance.
