He earned praise from his manager after coming on in both the derby defeat and the win over Omonia and Luke Shaw was back in a starting berth at Goodison on Sunday and put in a really solid display down the left.
The England international, ably covered by Marcus Rashford (as is often the case), kept the Everton attackers at bay down his side and he was there to offer support in attack, particularly in the second half. A really good 90 minutes for Luke, which he’ll be hoping to build on further.
