When Chelsea fired Thomas Tuchel on Wednesday, he was “totally shocked.” Tuchel begged Boehly for second chance and this is what happen
The German was fired after begging for a second chance for 10 minutes on the phone.
Tuchel was fired after the Blues lost their third straight game away from home, this time to Dinamo Zagreb in their first Champions League Group E match.
Tuchel said after the game that the club is missing “everything” at the moment.
The Sun says that the former PSG manager drove to Chelsea’s Cobham training ground today to scold his team after their loss on Tuesday.
But when he got there, no one was there to meet him. Instead, Tuchel was told to join a conference call with the top people at Chelsea.
During the 10-minute call, Tuchel begged not to be fired and asked for a second chance to fix things.
But the new owner, Todd Boehly, didn’t listen to him. He fired the German and gave the job to someone else.
