As usual, the summer transfer window of 2022 was busy and exciting. This time, a lot of big names in the game joined their current clubs as free agents, including Paul Pogba, Paulo Dybala, Angel Di Maria, Luis Suarez, and many others.
The transfer window officially closed on September 1 at 11:59 p.m. BST, the same time as all of Europe’s top leagues. This meant that Chelsea didn’t have enough time to work on their tenth signing, Russian international Arsen Zakharyan.
Still, since Chelsea couldn’t make the move happen this summer, they are looking for ways to bring the 19-year-old to Stamford Bridge as soon as possible in January. Personal terms seem to have been agreed upon, and the player is eager to make the move happen.
