Mateo Kovacic was chosen to talk to the media before tomorrow’s Champions League group game between Chelsea and Dinamo Zagreb because he is Croatian and just got back to the team.

When asked about his fitness level, he said, “I’m not 100% fit, but I’m getting better.”

This weekend, when Kova made his first start of the season, it was clear that he wasn’t as sharp as he could be. He was being very careful and didn’t want to take risks like he usually did.
