Martin Odegaard, Aaron Ramsdale, and Oleksandr Zinchenko, all of whom play for Arsenal, have been seen arriving in Manchester with the rest of the team.
This afternoon at Old Trafford, the much-anticipated match between the Gunners and Manchester United will start. This will be the biggest test for the Gunners so far. The team led by Mikel Arteta has won all five of its first Premier League games.
Odegaard, who is the captain of the team, was taken off as a precaution during the 2-1 win over Aston Villa last week. Ramsdale also got hurt. Zinchenko hasn’t played in the last two games because of a knee injury, and he hasn’t trained this week either.
Mikel Arteta, the manager of the team that hasn’t lost yet, talked about his team’s injury problems at a press conference on Friday. Arteta said, “We have looked at Ramsdale and Odegaard, and we will see more.
“I hope they’ll be able to train with the rest of the team. Zinchenko hasn’t been able to train with the team yet and has missed two games.
Odegaard looks like he will be back in midfield for today’s big game against United. Ramsdale was going to miss out because American goalkeeper Matt Turner was going to make his debut against Erik ten Hag’s team, but it looks like the Arsenal No. 1 will keep his starting spot.
Zinchenko is almost certain not to play in the game, but his trip to Manchester with the team is likely to be important in the locker room. The Ukraine player knows what it takes to beat United because he did it a lot with his old team, Manchester City. Arteta will want his experience and influence to be a part of the team before the game starts later today.
