Mikel Arteta, the manager of Arsenal, has told Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang that he hopes he does well at Chelsea.
The former captain of the Gunners moved from Barcelona to the Blues on the last day possible.
Aubameyang was shown off by Chelsea late on Thursday night after a deal was made with Barcelona for £10,3 million.
The 33-year-old player only joined Barcelona in February, after his contract with Arsenal ended.
Aubameyang played at the Emirates for four years and scored 92 goals in 163 games.
Arteta said of Aubameyang’s return to the Premier League, “I’m sure he made that decision because he wants to change again and find the best thing for his future, and we here wish him the best of luck.”
