Arsenal wanted to keep their unbeaten streak going by beating Aston Villa, while Steven Gerard’s team wanted to end Arsenal’s run of not losing this season.

Here are the Arsenal players who did the worst in the first half.

1.

Gabriel Martinelli was selfish and wasteful. He had many chances to pass the ball to his teammates and play as a team, but he was always trying to be the best player on the field, which cost Arsenal many goals. If he had taken advantage of his chances, he would have gotten three goals.

2.

Bukayo Saka was selfish during the game. When he had a chance to score, he kicked the ball away instead, and his play as a whole was bad.

3.

Benjamin White has enough time off to show that he is not a right back, which he did again today by having the weakest wing.
