Arsenal has had a great start to the Premier League season, winning their first three games and sitting at the top of the table. Despite this, the Gunners have been linked to signing new players before the end of the transfer window.

Since Nicolas Pepe is going out on loan for the season, Mikel Arteta’s team has been linked to a winger. Arsenal has had a good start on the field after a productive off-field summer. Arteta has been working to improve his team after they didn’t qualify for the Champions League last season, and there are rumors that this recruitment drive could continue.
Gabriel Jesus is off to a good start in London, as he has already scored twice. Oleksandr Zinchencko also seems to have made himself at home quickly. Arteta may not be done making changes to his team, though, because the club is still being linked to a number of big-name players.
“When the window opened, we signed players before letting others go,” Arteta said. “Now we’ve done something different. We’ve let a player go, and maybe we can get someone else. But it’s still not a sure thing because the players aren’t here yet. What I can promise is that until the window closes, I will think this is the best team in the world and try to get the most out of them.
Pedro Neto
Since Pepe is leaving, there are still rumors that Arsenal will pay £50 million for Wolves winger Pedro Neto. The Portuguese player signed a new contract in March that runs until 2027, but he is being linked to a move to London after he did well this year after coming back from a serious knee injury.
Bruno Lage said that no one had made an offer on the player yet, so he didn’t seem too worried about the rumors. “I’ve heard that, but we haven’t heard anything about it,” the Wolves manager said about the rumors about Neto and Arsenal. “Now that we have good players, it’s no big deal. No one gave me any information about any proposal.
Arteta, on the other hand, hasn’t said for sure that Arsenal will get Pepe’s replacement before the end of the window.
Yeremy Pinó
The Villarreal forward is good with both feet and can play on either side of the main striker. He has been linked to Arsenal all summer. In recent days, the trail has gone a little cold, but if a deal for Neto doesn’t happen, a last-ditch offer for Pino could happen.
Wilfried Zaha
Over the past 24 hours, the winger has been linked with both Chelsea and Arsenal. He is thought to be on Arsenal’s list if they can’t sign Pedro Neto. Dean Jones said on The Done Deal Show that Zaha is “in the background” and that Arsenal is “keeping an eye” on the Palace player, whose contract is up in the summer of 2019.
Youri Tielemans
Youri Tielemans has been linked to Arsenal many times over the course of his career, and the Belgian midfielder looks closer than ever to making the move. Tielemans’ contract with Leicester is up at the end of the season. Because of this, Leicester is said to have lowered their asking price for the 25-year-old, which gives Arsenal more hope of making a deal.
Brendan Rodgers put him on the bench for the loss to Southampton last weekend.
Moussa Diaby
Arsenal could also talk with Bayer Leverkusen about signing Moussa Diaby. The loan from Chelsea to Leverkusen of French winger Callum Hudson-Odoi is likely to go through, but Fabrizio Romano says it would take a big offer to get Leverkusen to give up their French player.
Ainsley Maitland-Niles
Ainsley Maitland-Niles is another player at Arsenal who seems to be able to leave. The 24-year-old has spent the second half of the last two seasons on loan, first at West Brom and then at Roma. He could leave on a season-long deal or make a permanent move.
Some Premier League clubs, like Southampton and Bournemouth, are said to be interested in the Englishman’s availability. There is also rumored to be interest from Europe.
