Mikel Arteta ‘plan B’ begs transfer question Edu and Stan Kroenke must answer

After getting five new players in the summer transfer window, Arsenal has had a good start to the Premier League season.

Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta used “plan B” in the comeback win against Fulham on Saturday. This shows that Edu and Stan Kroenke need to answer a key question about a transfer.

Arteta was very proud of his team after they came back from being down to win all three points and keep the Gunners’ perfect record in the Premier League. Thursday is the last day of the summer transfer window, and it is thought that Arteta wants to add a new winger and a central midfielder to his team.

There have been rumors that Pedro Neto and Youri Tielemans will move to the Emirates Stadium this summer. However, football.london has heard that Arsenal are willing to wait until next summer to sign Youri Tielemans for free when his contract with Leicester ends. Eddie Nketiah came off the bench and made an immediate difference, becoming the Gunners’ main offensive focus. However, Arteta may need more help to make his backup plan work when things aren’t going well.

Aleksandar Mitrovic scored the first goal after Gabriel Magalhaes made a mistake at the back. In response, Arsenal’s manager brought on Eddie Nketiah, changed the team’s formation, and switched Bukayo Saka and Gabriel Martinelli. Arteta left Fabio Vieira, Emile Smith Rowe, Albert Sambi Lokonga, and Marquinhos on the bench. But the Spanish manager may still need stronger options if the Gunners have trouble breaking down teams as they try to get into the top four.

Arteta has made it clear that he wants to add more players to his team before the end of the transfer window. He has also said that the club is still active and will try to make deals “if the market allows it.” After spending more than £100 million for the second summer in a row, owner Stan Kroenke and technical director Edu need to find someone who can join the team and make a difference.

There are only a few days left of the summer transfer window, so any deal would have to be done by Thursday. Reports from this week say that Arsenal is “prioritizing” a move for Wolves star Neto, but the Gunners are worried that they may be priced out of a deal because Wolves thinks Neto is worth about £50 million.

Arteta still hopes that the club will be able to add one or two more players to his team. Some of the club’s less important players are still expected to be sold. If any of Arsenal’s key players get hurt, Arteta will hope that his team has enough depth to compete during the busy time before the 2022 World Cup. He will look to Edu and Stan Kroenke for the money to make that happen.
