In 2018, Arsenal scored one of the most underrated goals in the history of the Premier League.
Leicester City, led by Claude Puel and Unai Emery, came to the Emirates stadium to play the Gunners.
Early on, Leicester was playing better than Arsenal. In the 31st minute, Hector Bellerin put a low cross from Ben Chilwell into his own net, giving Leicester a well-deserved lead.
The goal really threw Arsenal off their game, but it also got them going again.
Mesut Ozil went on to have one of the most amazing games anyone has ever played in the Premier League.
Ozil evened things up for his team with a smart tap-in after Bellerin had done some great things on the right side.
Arsenal finally took the lead when Ozil played a pass that split the defense and put Bellerin in a lot of space. Bellerin then played the ball across the box to Pierre Emerick Aubameyang, who scored from close range.
The best goal was the third one scored by Arsenal. It was so good that it should go down in English football history as one of the best goals ever scored. Not surprisingly, Ozil played a big role once again.
When the ball was sent to Ozil in the center circle, he flicked it into the path of Matteo Guendouzi, who then passed it to Bellerin on the right.

With Foxes goalkeeper Kasper Schmeichel coming out of his box, Ozil showed a lot of class under pressure by putting the ball perfectly across the goal, where Aubameyang was waiting to tap it in without being touched. Not enough has been said about this goal.
It was an amazing goal by Emery’s team. It was definitely one of the few high points of the Spanish manager’s time in charge of the Gunners.
Emery was happy with how Ozil played after the game.
He said, “The second half was good, and we ended the first half well.” We may have started out cold.
“The 90 minutes went well, and we played with a good attitude and a high level of skill. It’s a big win, and we worked hard for it.”
Emery added, “Ozil’s commitment is very good in every game and practice. Everyone is working together and helping each other. Both the team as a whole and Mesut individually did a great job.
“The team only missed the first 30 minutes and got a good result and good goals.”
