Final EPL Table and Match Analysis After Arsenal Edged Past Fulham To Reclaim Top Spot

Premier league actions concluded on Saturday evening when Arsenal hosted new comers Fulham at the Emirates stadium in what was the last game which kicked off by 17:30 BST.

The game was a very pulsating game but Fulham knew they had to defend aggressively and did so to hold Mikel Arteta’s side to a goalless draw at half time.

The second half produced goals but it was Fulham who opened the scoring. Arsenal tried to play out from the back as they usually do but Gabriel took a heavy touch which Mitrovic capitalized on to slot the ball past Ramsdale in the 56th minute.

Arsenal found the equaliser 8 minutes later when Odegaard’s shot deflected off Adarabioyo to beat Leno as the Emirates erupted in celebration to that goal. The Gunners’ completed the comeback when Gabriel scored in the 85th minute to redeem himself after his howler earlier as Arsenal edged past Fulham 2-1 at the Emirates stadium.

With that win, Arsenal are still the only team in the premier league with a 100% win rate as they’ve won all 4 games played so far.

After Arsenal’s win, they moved back to the top of the premier league table with 12 points, 2 points clear of second placed Man City. The EPL Table is shown below.
