Mikel Arteta is “extremely confident” that Arsenal will re-sign Bukayo Saka soon.
Saka joined the club at age seven and made his debut under Unai Emery in 2019. Under Arteta, he has flourished and become one of the greatest young players in the game.
Saka was Arsenal’s best scorer last season despite racial insults he received after missing England’s deciding penalty in Euro 2020’s loss to Italy.
The 20-year-old has two years left on his contract at the Emirates Stadium and is a key member of Arteta’s side. However, there has been media talk that some large clubs are considering a potential trade.
Mikel Arteta is sure that Saka will sign a new contract with Arsenal.
When asked about a new agreement for Saka, the Spaniard said, “I’m certain that we as a club, Bukayo, his family, his agent, and everyone are aligned in what we want to achieve.” Put it on paper.”
Saka could participate in this winter’s World Cup in Qatar, therefore Arteta wants him to sign immediately.
He said, “I want that done.”
I don’t want anyone distracted during the season. These things require time and the appropriate procedure, and I believe it’s been excellent.
We think…
Fans hope Mikel Arteta is right about Saka.
