Even without moves, Barcelona is rarely without drama. Robert Lewandowski was robbed on his way to training today.
Sport reports that the Polish striker had stopped to sign autographs outside the training ground. Two men opened his car’s opposite door and stole his €75k watch.
Lewandowski chased the men on foot, and local police caught them. After a confession, the watch was located behind a tree.
This is the latest instance involving insufficient security at the club’s stadium. Samuel Umtiti was approached by supporters last year, and a crowd surrounded Ronald Koeman’s car, threatening club personnel. Joan Laporta fired the security chief in November, but it had little effect.
