“Goodbye to Arsenal, fans am sorry” Star finalise deal out of Emirates, Fulham purchased German goalkeeper Bernd Leno from Arsenal for £8m.

The 30-year-old stopped nine games last season after losing his job to Aaron Ramsdale.

After joining Arsenal for £20m from Bayer Leverkusen in 2018, he maintained 37 clean sheets in 125 games.

Leno is Fulham’s fifth summer signing since regaining promotion.

Cottagers have added Joao Palhinha, Andreas Pereira, Kevin Mbabu, and Manor Solomon.

Leno: “It’s great to be here.” I’m excited to join the team, train, and play.

“I’m relieved. Glad to be here. It took a while, but we made it, and that’s what matters.”

Fulham reportedly paid £3m upfront, with $5m in add-ons.

Mazeed Ogungbo has joined Crawley Town on loan from Arsenal.

The 19-year-old rejoins ex-Gunners youth coach Kevin Betsy at Crawley after 23 Premier League 2 appearances for Arsenal.

The Republic of Ireland and Nigerian kid signed his first pro contract last summer.

Ogungbo hasn’t played for Spurs yet.

Betsy told Crawley’s website, “We’ve secured a fantastic young youngster in Mazeed.”

“He’s a speedy, versatile defender who can play three positions.” He’ll add competition for backline spots.
