EPL: I’m sorry – Tuchel apologises to Chelsea stars after 2-2 draw

Thomas Tuchel, the manager of Chelsea, issued an apology to his team after their Sunday 2-2 Premier League match with Tottenham Hotspur.

Tuchel praised Chelsea players for their outstanding effort against Antonio Conte’s team, but they were unable to secure the victory they deserved.

Following goals from Kalidou Koulibaly, Reece James, Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg, and Harry Kane, Tottenham and Chelsea drew at Stamford Bridge.

“We dominated for 90 minutes,” Tuchel said after the game on Sky Sports.

“It was a terrific performance. We were sharp and hungry. I’m sorry on behalf of all of my guys that the outcome wasn’t what we deserved.

The next Sunday will see Chelsea play against Leeds United in the Premier League.
